We'd like to send out a big thank you to everyone who came out to the Grand Funk show and made that such a huge success and thrill for us! Playing to a packed house, sold out theatre of 2500 people has been the highlight of our year so far! Big thanks to EVERYONE involved in that show...to the awesome gentlemen in Grand Funk Railroad and their crew for allowing us to share the stage with them, to the folks at Foellinger Theatre and the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department, with special thanks to Mike Thompson, Mitch Sheppard, Ken Ramsey and Tim Byers. To everyone at 92.3 The Fort...we wish you all a very happy 15th birthday and thanks for your participation and support that day. And we cannot express enough thanks to Big Bob Redman for his awesome, and we mean AWESOME work for us that day on the soundboard! You are a true magician on that board, Bob, and we were lucky to have you behind it at that show! Our special thanks also go out to Brian and Beth for everything they did for us.

This weekend we're returning to rock the roof off SKIP'S PARTY PLACE in Angola! You know it's ALWAYS a party when Brother pulls the party train into SKIP'S so we hope you're planning to join us there this Friday and Saturday, September 5 & 6! Remember, it's an early start at Skip's and we'll be hitting the stage at 9:30 p.m. both nights!

Then on Sunday, for the second year in a row, we're joing 92.3 The Fort again in helping them Rock The Square! Brother will be joining Duece and Moser Woods and rocking Sunday afternoon away at Freimann Square in beautiful downtown Fort Wayne!! Here's the band schedule: Duece will go on at 3:00 pm, we go on at 4:30 pm, and Moser Woods will play at 6:00 pm. This is an All Ages show and food & drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating, as it's a casual atmosphere!

THEN...Thursday night, September 11...we are participating in yet another benefit at Dupont Bar & Grill. We should have some details on this one for you in the next couple days and will get them up here on this page just as soon as the information is available so check back here by Sunday or Monday for details.

As you all know, we play back to back weekends at Skip's in Angola, so look for Brother to be back there again next weekend, September 12 & 13.

PLUS, ALSO THAT WEEKEND...our own Mikey and Mark are part of a wonderful side-project called CROSSING. Crossing is a 6-piece band that was formed for a one-time, special appearance on Saturday, September 13th at a benefit well-known in the Fort Wayne area called ROCKIN' DOCS MUSICFEST. The Musicfest is a two-day event, being held on Friday and Saturday, September 12th & 13th at Headwaters Park from 5 pm to midnight. This is a 21 and over event and the gate ticket price is $15. The bands participating in this event are, on Friday, the 12th: The Distractions, Daystar, Fracture, and Frankie & the Bananas. On Saturday, the 13th, rockin' the day away will be: The Martin Brothers Blues Band, CROSSING (Mikey and Mark's band), See Alice Run and Sheba. The fund raising event will benefit Matthew 25 Health & Dental Clinic, Francine's Mobile Mammography, Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center, Riley Hospital for Children, and Super Shot. Mark and Mikey will be playing at this event then scooting right up to Angola to jam the night away with Brother at Skip's! Whew! Another busy weekend!!

And stay tuned, cuz we've got a big announcement to make regarding New Year's Eve 2008!!

We also want to announce that our summer Brother Wear... sleeveless tees for the guys and some awesome, sexy tanks in two different styles for the ladies is almost sold out! AND ladies...we still have a few pairs of the Brother thongs left. Be sure to get yours while supplies last.

We'd also like to let everyone know that our very own Michael Campbell is now doing Karaoke at Dupont Bar & Grill on Dupont Road, Wednesday nights from 8:00 to midnight. Michael is an awesome Karaoke Host, making it a fun evening for all, whether you participate yourself or just come out to enjoy the other singers. Michael even sings one or two himself on occasion and has been known to duet with others from time to time. So stop out to Dupont Bar and Grill any Wednesday night and join in that fun!
